I love apple pie with melted cheese, Faholo, actually I decided against
using up my apples to make another crisp, because we still have one left over from Thanksgiving. I don't know what I was thinking. The chicken and dumplings in the crockpot (from a Stouffer's bag), is almost done though.
I did not know who wrote that song until I looked it up. I do that a lot, have bits and pieces of songs and quotes in my head. That's why I love Google so much. there's just a wealth of informatioin out there now, so easy to access.

Hi, Blanche, real love is always sweet! I sure do remember
Judy Collins and I enjoyed reading the words of the song you can't get out of your head! Sometimes that is maddening and sometimes it is fun and lifts our spirit! Hope your pie turned out good, I love apple pie with melted American cheese on top! Blessings!
