LOL. You want to know more about the spread of Wahhabism, read
Dore Gold's
Hatred's Kingdom, Blanche. It chronicles the rise of the sect and Saudi Arabia's part in its growth (and its influence)...

Add Saudi Arabia to your list, Blanche. Those sonsofbitches have not only
nurtured but financed, propagated and disseminated the extremist Wahhabist philosophy that is now the chosen religion of an estimated 200 million Muslims.

Iran, Russia, China and North Korea all scare the bejeesus out of me, Saul
and the cavalier attitude of the Bush Admin and the State Dept. just fuel all my Blackhawk helicopter conspiracy theories, so I try not to go there, but it's hard not to, cause they act like either morons without a clue, or guilty of arms trading themselves.
Ollie North was a piker by comparison.

Thanks, teddypoet. I read your poetry all the time. I had no idea you
were clicking on my posts, except on the rare occasion. I'm flattered by the unknown attention from such talents as yourself and TAPS. And thanks for the poetic gift. There is no doubt tears will fall as a result of this deal...

Make that two, saul...
skies over Earth
dusty brown
cool bleu
thunderoous rain gray
sweating over heat risen
from those many battled sands
skies over Earth
shed teardrops

saul_relative, I always appreciate reading your interpretation of the news and what is going on in our world. I don't often comment because I'm just not a writer on those subjects, but I read you a lot.
