I was intrigued
even as a kid to notice that Pilate's name is found with that of Mary in the Apostle's Creed. You know...
"he suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried..."
And now I am beginning to think that it is there because we Christians have to be reminded that it is enough to be a Pilate to betray the Lord, you know, one who says he is not against the Lord and yet by his actions betray Him by not siding with Him. The Lord's saying "whoever is not with me is against me" is verified in the case of Pilate.

Firar-Tuck I stopped by to see if I had read

Fear keeps us from acting out of love for God,
far too often, Friar-Tuck. Welcome back! If only we could put our self in Pilates's shoes maybe we could begin to see our selves as very much like him in our relationship with God at times. Happy Thanksgiving and Blessings!
