Good question Sunny7! I eat fish & eggs 'cos vegetarianism is bad for my
health; but I was vegan since my 9th grade. Too much Gandhi in my food!!! LOL
Many people cannot process wheat and that kind of carb well (I don't have Ciliac's disease but I might just as well have had it for the effects).
I think deep spirituality turns people into vegetarians: you see how input and output impacts on the environment. If what we take as medicine gets into the fish and water supply, what about the dumping in the toiletes! What does that do to the earth. The crusie ships and their abuses are just one anecdote/scenario. Sorry, food is serious ENVIRONMENTAL business for me. Good question, all the same.

I eat some things that others won't touch, like sushi, but not frog legs
or snails. I ate conch one time on accident. Ugh. Ruined my meal. LOL

Nope - haven't tried them.
In Asia it's pretty common to eat a variety of deep fried bugs - you can buy them off the street side vendors. No thank you.
