Your creativity is wonderful, your stories ring with sweet melancholy.
I haven't been around for a while. I'm trying to come back. It's nice to see and read you again, ThomasFranklin.

I was about to get
grossed out, but your birds saved me. I don't know why, but clumps of earwax gross me out. Great story, what a twist!

what a dream!!
I blame ear wax for my deafness...ok I am not deaf...but, partly in one ear.
as a child, I suffered alot with ear wax...I have lost count how many times I had to have them syringed.....last time (years ago)....the syringe hit my eardrum...which has made me my right ear parlty deaf.

I don't know who Richard B. is ? I don't know how to spell his name either. I tried remembering it but I forgot it from there to here.

I'm glad that you can relate. Personally, I've ad wax build up too but I didn't rush to the hospital. I walked to Albertsons and bought ear cleaner. It was a do it yourself job.

I like that story.
It reminds me a bit of Richard Brautigan (sorry to name drop) which is no bad thing.

One time, I had to be rushed to the hospital due to "excessive earwax" ...
I feared I was going deaf.
I hope some animal never bores a hole in my head
and lays its eggs in my brain,
because later you might think you're having a good idea
but it's just eggs hatching.
