hey let's start a knock down drag out in the house

how's that?

sounds like what you and some reps are virtually suggesting

imagine the fallout and repercussions and revenge.

no way to mend relations.

but then again when did Republicans ever think about mending relations with anything or anybody

Corbin
I can't get over the Dem party. They are fighting with each other ALREADY! Then they wonder why their party implodes in the big elections. James Carvel said yesterday that DNC chairman H Dean held out on last weeks elections to the tune of 6 mil...That's about the smartest thing I have ever heard come out of his mouth...

Corbin,

I had not been following this Pelosi-Murtha thing, but then I did take look because it seems to be stirring the pot considerably!

Beyond the wider implications, the tactis employed are disgraceful, and so is Murtha's cavalier dismissal of a promise he had made earlier.

Here's a little excerpt from the WP:

One conservative Democrat said that a Murtha-Pelosi ally approached him on the House floor and said pointedly: "I hope you like your committee assignment, because it's the only one you're going to get."

‘Letters don’t mean anything’
In a phone call initiated by Murtha that same day, the lawmaker told the longtime politician that he had already signed a letter of support for Hoyer. The congressman said he was stunned when Murtha told him, "Letters don't mean anything."

I wonder how that flies with all those nice liberal Democrats who elected Mr. Murtha, and Madame Pelosi, for that matter!
