One more thing, Blanche...
You said in your comment that the illegals are contributing to Social Security but that's  misinformation on your part.  I live in a Latino neighborhood and most of them are not making money legally.  They are not contributing to society.  They are working for money under the table and it isn't going into our system.  And, 95% of them are on some sort of government assistance.

Before criticizing what I'm saying, you might want to check your facts.

Obviously, you didn't read...
the whole article and I'm not a racist.  This has nothing to do with someone's race.  It has to do with right and wrong and there's a big difference between how people came here two hundred years ago and worked hard to make it for themselves and the people who are coming in now and living off the government.  I live in the midst of a Latino neighborhood and I see exactly what's happening.

Using race as an excuse to do wrong is never going to make this right!

The word is "racist", Whimsystoryteller, and I'm afraid that it sounds like

you are.  How many generations ago was it that your own parents or grandparents came to this country to enjoy the material success and opportunities afforded them.  Why is that different from the "illegals" who come here, in search of better opportunities?

And it is simply not possible to ship that many people, 10 million or so, back across the border. It's a done deal, they're here, we need to adapt and find ways to assimilate them into our country. They provide valuable services and pay much more into Social Security which they cannot collect themselves, generating billions of income, rather than taxing the economy they improve it.
