I never bought any of my assignments...
But I did write an article for my uni magazine about plagiarism and discovered that it is a very widespread problem. I don't blame you! I'd do it too if I could find the time.

Good for you Tanga...I guess you were a pretty good student.

Deschak...I completely agree with you...
But there's a huge market for this sort of thing...this site I write for can't get enough writers to do all the assignments. Once you get the hang of the style formatting, the Bibliography page, foot notes, etc...it's easy money.

I have an MLA Handbook. Perhaps you should buy one. You can
usually find free ones around, too, say at your local library because there are so many of them in existence. Also, your library probably has one.
I think a thesis statement is an overview of what you are going to write about, so it doesn't make sense to write a thesis statement without also writing the paper. I think it's basically no more than one or two hundred words long, like an abstract, except BEFORE the writing occurs instead of AFTER.
Writing papers for people is SO unethical and those who buy them are cheating themselves as much as their classmates and teachers. Those buyers really ought to be busted.
But I can totally dig wanting to make some money, even if it is under the table. I just couldn't do it, though, not this way.

No Passionflower, I never bought any of my college assignments. I'd tuck the children into bed many of nights and work diligently on assignments.

Speaking of pics, Passionflower, I've got some on my camera, but RiteAid's
one-hour photo equipment is down, I'd have to go to Bartell's, a few miles away to get them developed. But I will this afternoon, so I can post them. I got a cute photo with a poodle.

Blanche...I'm not interested in a discussion on whether it's right
Or wrong....there's a huge market out there for this type of writing so I'm going for it. If you can adapt that thinking then you'd be good at it.

Passionflower, nope never did, but I might write for the site, too.
As much as I frown on the cheating, it would be tempting. I guess you could say that about a lot of things, huh?

Unfortunately a lot of college students now cheat
Those students who buy their assignments will lose out in the end. They may gain a qualification (if they are not found out), but they do miss out on the satisfaction of getting a good grade for their own efforts. I wonder how they will feel in future, never knowing if they could have achieved it on their own?

Passion, MLA for a thesis statement is (handwritten) skio top line, skip
Every other line, indent. Skip last line of the page. Not sure how that differs when typewritten.
A thesia statement is the topic sentence(s) but not as much as an introductory paragraph. It tells what the paper will be about.
That's all I can remember.

Hold on a minute...
You wrote a paper for a seminary student? Isn't that like cheating and doesn't God frown on that? As for thesises and that there heavy handed writing stuff, can't help you there, but I hear Ariala knows a British Librarian, is that close enough?
