THANK YOU
Generally people are kind and considerate, and if left to their own devices will take care of each other.  On one tour in Korea, the DIVARTY Commander had been taken to the cleaners in divorce and left with about $750 a month to live on.  His staff, including myself contrived to have a weekly Saturday night poker game where each officer managed to lose about twenty bucks to the Colonel, giving him roughly an extra $100 a week.  The old guy may have suspected, but honor prevent him from saying anything.  He did however care for his men and went the extra mile.
