perspective that, even though we know the inevitability of death, we are constantly surprised by the passing of others from our lives.

And according to the retrospective on "Larry King" ...
Bradley was the one who ultimately negotiated the "peace accord" between Mike Wallace and Don Hewitt, during that whole tobacco fiasco.
It's funny how you just kind of assume the people you see on television are all going to live forever. Or, at least, for as long as you watch their programs.

He will be remembered by many
but as you said, also by all of us who shared our Sunday evenings with him. I too was quite taken aback when I heard the news.
