I jumped out of a hay loft in my uncle's barn in South Dakota when I was a
kid, Sannhet. There was hay at the bottom, so it didn't hurt. It was fun.

I fell off the roof of my folks house once, when I was teenager. I thought I'd be done for too, but other than a large bruise on my thigh and side (where I landed), I was okay. The jarring you speak of did ring my bell for a while too. Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

I fell out of a tree once. I was about 15 feet up and landed on my butt. I thought, 'Oh, God,' as I was going down. But, it didn't hurt at all. It was very jarring. I couldn't believe I was unhurt.
