Hi, WritersBlok,
Just wanted to chime in and say "hello". I agree that voting is a privilege that we too often take for granted. I always try to get out and vote, even when its by absentee ballot, though I'm guilty of missing several. It's not a good thing to squander our voting rights. It's very important to remember what others have done so that we have these rights. At least for me. Thanks. :)

Actually, I still haven't used an electronic voting machine.
It was disappointing to see that my polling place had paper ballots but I was still excited to participate in the process!

I'm surprised that it's the first time u ar using electronic votingmachines
We've been using them in my part of the country for some years now; the sad part abt these machines is that they don't give you the chance to muck up the ballot paper to make a point

More Voting problems in FL
"Hundreds of voters in two Central Florida counties were apparently given the wrong ballots Tuesday, according to a Local 6 News report.
The problem came to light when a woman wanted to vote for state Rep. Joyce Cusack and state Rep. Ronald Cahen but noticed they were not on the ballot. Officials then noticed that she had the wrong ballots for her district."
