- Go to Gay Men Are Human Too....
homosexual people do not "choose"
..to be that way; it's the way they are wired...this is likely the biggest mistake people can make when casting ignorant aspersions...I've many gay friends, both male and female and not one of them decided one day that they would try that life and wham, they were gay...most of them knew early on in their lives that they were "different" and when puberty arrived, they knew without a doubt they were homosexual...sure, they could hide their sexual inclinations, but in the end they are only lying to themselves...a few of my friends tried to deny themselves of who they were, they went straight, got married, had kids, etc, but in the end, the marriages all failed and by choosing to try to deny who they actually were/are, brought more misery to themselves and their families...homosexuality is not a lifestyle choice...

they are people too
many straight men get weird if a gay man "comes on" to them or they perceive a friendly gesture as "coming on" to them. i have seen it so many times.
