Shams-i-Heartstrong
Absolutely remarkarable! The Persian poet, Rumi, just seems to do something to my heart. I feel spell-bound. The other, I believe, is a Sufi poem...And they have a beautiful expression for God the Beloved as 'Yaar', and the server of 'Jaam' (a pint of), as 'Saaki', the maiden who pours. All so beautiful.

Powerful teaching
The Lord answers our prayers; but we cannot accept it or understand. The Lord comes to us daily in many disguises...and just as Jesus was spurned by the Pharisees and leading rabbis, those with power tell us to expect a different God than we see before our eyes. Why else did He command us, "Love thy Neighbor as thyself."?

Mr. Norton,

It's nice to read you.  I hail in the great Pacific Northwest, raised in native american traditions and culture. I am a decendent of a long line of medicine woman (very long) back to Sacagawea. My studies are in herbology and nutrition.

By faith I am a follower of Jesus Christ.  I've dedicated a poem in response to your My Beloved Awaits Next Door. I look forward to reading you more.
