thanks, Drew. Yeah, I was disappointed. Those two touchdowns in the
first six minutes of the second half were too difficult to overcome in a back-and-forth game.  But, being a native West Virginian, I'm so used to the damned-nears and the almosts that it ain't even funny.  It builds character, as they say.  And there's always next season, as you mentioned.  We'll get there one day...

A great run Saul
Your Mountaineers have such a talented backfield, they are destined for great things in '07.  Devestating turnovers and some softness on defense (especially on first and second downs) were their undoing I thought.  Louisville had a lot to do with that though.

My school, BC, is a hail mary against NC State away from sitting at undefeated and I cannot get away from the what if's.  I hope you are more sensible than I dealing with your disappointment.  I have a feeling that you are.

Congrats to the Cardinals and thanks to WVU for a most entertaining game.  There is still a great bowl game and some extremely exciting football to watch.  And, more on the plus side for WVU, a Heisman watch in '07 for Slaton.  Peterson going pro is a strong liklihood and number 10 is sure to be the frontrunner.  Not to mention a Championship run.  The sun will be shining where the Country Roads take you home....
