Thank you for giving Joe N. a nod in your posting. With the, deserved, mass attention going to the passing of Boston's Red A, it is sad that Joe Niekro's obit had become an afterthought to the sporting community. May that more people will take the time to look at the career of a great pitcher and remember why we all tried to throw knuckleballs when we were in Little League, why some of us think we could still go out and give six strong innings today. A life in baseball is a beautiful thing, Rest in Peace Joe N.
