I think you're taking the Bible too much at face value
It's not about the words - it's about the meaning behind the words.
This is the way I see it:
God isn't a someone neither is the Holy ghost.
God it the power, the knowledge, the love behind creation - it's the power and knowledge that we have inside us to create whatever we want.
The Holy Ghost is the "enlightment" that God sends us when we haven't yet reached that power - its those "a-ha" moments we have!
Mary means giving birth to that knowledge, turning it into something humanly possible.
Mary's husband symbolises the trust we should have in ourselves.
Jesus came to earth to spread God's word - that means Jesus is action that is born from the knowledge inside us. He's about showing how to use it in our lives.
Well, that's my short version of God, Mary, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
