No- not really except in rare cases when they grow up together as puppies and kitties. If you get them from a shelter when they are older, they would have a terrible time. Mister Cat would move out if we brought home a dog!!!

LOL, I am jealous, kitty envy, when we get a bigger place, we are heading
straight to the rescue shelter and getting a dog and a cat. My boyfriend can't wait.
