It is, and about the wisdom other women share with us.
I think that is one of the reasons I've been with Blogit (on and off) so long. I love the ability to reach out to so many women and share with them, tap into their knowledge, laugh. It is a great way to connect. I've been lucky to find so many great ones, like you Whacky. Happy Halloween!

It's seems to be about learning as we go.

Neat!

I couldn't agree with you more.

Schatz, that's a really good point, the forgiving is a key part of healing.

I think that working through the memories instead of repressing them is also key, they are a part of everyone's experience. That was a point that "Sunshine of the Eternally Spotless Mind" was making, was that if you take all the painful  parts of the past away, what are you left with? Brain death, a hygienic, perky mind that has no trace of soul or personality.

It's not good to dwell forever on the past, but it's part of the total package, and any person who's had any experiences that traumatic, can use those to become more empathetic to others' pain. It's the people who've never had anything happen to them, or who shovel under the carpet and insist that others do the same, in the name of "moving on" that I think have serious problems and some form of dementia and insanity.  That's nuts.

LOL I knew someone would point that out, I should have known who...
Don't you keep things in your bathroom? I was in Tom Monihan's bathroom once. (He's the guy who owns Domino's Pizza) It has a gold phone mounted right next to the potty.

Oh, my God!

You took a book that someone had had in her bathroom?!

That she (presumably) had read while on the toilet?!

Okay, I think I'm going to be sick.

It's amazing to me that one of the world's most feared diseases
would be carried by one of the world's smallest animals:
the real tiny dog.
