sitting out big ben
I agree that cowher would have been wise to sit out Ben last week. He was obviously not right for the game. Your opinions are right on  target, but thats easy the day after the game is played. I would be more impressed to have heard these sentiments prior to the debacle. See my Sports Talk blog for my views on which way Cowher should go next week....and Brady--Peyton comparisons...

i sort of agree (bias)
but the refs coupled with the "Bettis" thing made it such a media event instead of a football game.  I have met Ben when i worked at the Hilton and he is extremely arrogant and unfriendly.  They would stay there for their homes games and I would meet them in the service elevators.  Never a hello.  I am sure his ego is bruised now after yesterday's flop.

I thought the Steelers were handed the super bowl against the Seahawks
by the referees.  The referees made it impossible for the Seahawks to win.  Water under the Bridge.  I think Ben is still suffering from that motorcycle accident.  I broke my back in a car accident and it took me two years to recover from that.  I don't like Manning but that means little.  Brady has a great team around him and that has made him successful.

i can't even watch them anymore
i could tell what was happening from the sounds of the neighbors.  i am a die hard steeler fan - but yet i watched scary movies.  he hasn't been the same since the motorcycle accident.  no dynasty again i thin.
