Thanks Justi. Yeah, I'm thankful, too.
Especially considering the size of the limb and the number of houses.

Hi Offbeats, yeah it must be all the weather that has been blowing
through various parts of this country. Or something.
The poor old lady living in this house appeared heartbroken at the thought of losing this massive tree (the whole thing will need to be cut down). Who knows how long she has lived in that house and enjoyed its shade.

It would seem a lot of people lost trees this week. Big one laying out back. No power lose though. Glad no one was hurt, interesting she only lost her phone...

Wow, that is amazing. I am so glad they took care of it before some person or animal found it. All life can not handle those cables like a "Mr. Marlboro!". Good post.

Ach, sorry Blanche. Guess I just misunderstood your comment.
Blonde moment . . . . (You wouldn't know about those, I guess, seeing that you are NOT blonde!)

Blanche -- not quite a miracle??? Won't qualify as one with the Catholic
Church???
Oh well. That's OK.

JanesOpinion, I'd say a miracle is two or more unlikely events happening
at a particularly auspicious time, and yes, there are lots of them. I'm living proof of that. Good thing you were careful, Avant Garde described an incident in his blog, on a nasty lawn mower accident. Ick. I have no stomach for medicine.
