I'm with you there, RI. I couldn't stand Woody Hayes either. I'm still
not a big fan of the team, but that doesn't stop them from being damned good.

O.S.U. does look scary..I absolutely hated them under old Woody Hayes
but can almost tolerate them now, except when they play Mich.

OSU looks unstoppable, R.I. Regardless of who wins, though, I'm hoping
for a WVU win against Louisville to set WVU up for a shot at the national title.  Because I've always liked their name and have never liked OSU, I'll be pulling for the Wolverines, R.I.

saul, this is what makes the college game so much fun to watch..
I am waiting with anticipation for the U.M. - O.S.U. game..it should be a win for OSU, but you never know....

Exactly, Blanche. The ridiculous spinning of extremist ideologues is
maddening...

I'm against mindless extremism of either end of the spectrum, Saul.
The knee jerk left is as bad as the knee jerk right. Both want to subvert laws to suit their own agenda.

Every garden its snake, Blanche. I, too, am anti-PC. It is nothing more
than censorship.

It's pretty zany, Saul, although one reason I left Eugene is that it does
take itself way too seriously in the PC department.  I'm no fan of PC, it gets out of hand and sillly.

I love Oregon, Blanche. It is the one state in this country that doesn't
seem to take itself too seriously.

I am no sports fan, but I am an alumni of U of Oregon Ducks and I can't
help smiling. Not the least of which is how in the hell can anyone say the name of Oregon State's team with a straight face. I mean, the Mighty Fighting DUCKS, was bad enough, and when they played the Civil War game, instate every year, the same old tired jokes came out, but what were they thinking?

And, as will happens, no matter how hard the Trojans pounded the Beavers,
the Trojans ended up Beaver-whipped.
