Yes, indeed, Drew. I'd like to see the Mountaineers vie for the title this
year.  Who woulda thunk that USC would lose to Oregon St.?

An extra week to be on the edge o fyour seat...
I thought that the Louisville team was sunk when Michael Bush went down in week one, but what they have going on for them right now is like a whole freight train refusing to blow their whistle.  They don't want anyone to know they are coming or to give them a chance to get out of the way.  With the best coach in the nation and the most balanced team I have seen in years, your Mountaineers are in for an epic battle.

Luckily, there is a pretty fine coach on your sideline and an unbelievable amount of speed in the backfield.  Taking into account USC losing to Oregon State this afternoon, it seems likely that the team still standing on Thursday night has the inside track to the BCS Championship game.  As a capitalistic slant, Rodriguez has the opportunity to jump several tax brackets (seven digits inspires even the purest of hearts) with a win there November 2nd.  Giddy-Up!!!!!!!

Sorry, Mademoiselle. My mistake. I didn't realize it until I got home at
10:05, told my kids and their overnight guest to give up the television, worked my way through all the stations two or three times and cussed every damned one of them for being so damned stupid as to not bring a game between two undefeated teams!!  It wasn't until I jumped on ESPN.com that I noticed that the game date was November 2.  My apologies.  Hope you taped a good game, whoever is playing, Mademoiselle.  Oh, by the way, the rest of the post still holds...

That game's on tonight?

I thought it was on Thursday!

I guess I'll have to tape it, then (I'll be attending a dinner party).

I don't say that the bird is "good"
or the bat is "bad."
But I will say this:
at least the bird is less nude.
