Many thanks for the encouragement. I've actually managed to dash off a few thousand words already. Now if I can just get my NaNoWriMo account updated before the thing is over with...
Evidently there is such a rush for everyone to get their first efforts posted that they are overloading the system. It may be day three before I make entry one.
Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I've got so many irons in the fire right now that it's difficult to find enough time to eat and sleep.

You are quite right. the first priority is to get it written. Everything else is of secondary importance.
