- Go to Democrats And The Retaking Of Congress
I hope you're wrong on the elections also, SlyCy, but there's a deep dread
of that GOP propaganda and mobillization machine that I have that keeps sneaking back into my thoughts, telling me that the Democrats can still lose big in this mid-term election. I'm not ultra liberal, although some of my views may reflect that; I am not ultra conservative, although a few of my views can be considered as such; so I consider myself a Centrist, my views tending to swing a little to the right and to the left, depending. I want what's best for this country, and, at this moment in our history, a change in direction is much needed. The Democrats may be able to provide that change.

I am ultra liberal, but I recognize that people like your dad represent
what the Democratic Party used to represent. I don't hate people who go to church, I don't hate people who use firearms responsibly. I don't like being labled as to who or what I am. We are all in this world together and have to do the best we can. But I don't think the Democrats are going to capitilize in this election. I hope I am wrong.
