Those people were full of hatred. You could see it in their eyes.

Now that I write it out, it does seem that way.

Well, as I told Moxie, it caught me completely by surprise. I was very tired and worn out. Only until I thought about it later did the possibility of it being for real settle upon me.

I have discovered this and use it when I need to. I've visited several very haunted places and I am no longer afraid.

That sounds unnerving. Neither would I. How can you sleep when you can't relax?

The irony is that I was totally out of it. I was so sleepy. And, I knew this guy was most likely having anxiety. But, when I hit that door, boom. It was like a wall that was repelling me.

Nope, Avant, I have not watched The Haunting, it sounds interesting
The feeling that I had then, it was a definitely something I paid attention to.  It felt very much like their was an dark consciousness present, beyond creepy into terrifying.  I don't think I ever spent another night in that house. I couldn't.

Use caution and be aware, Avant_Garde. Something was more interested in you and you noticing them, than interested in your partner.

There is truth in that saying. Maybe I should run some more encounters, since Halloween is coming.

I was absolutely stunned at first. It took a good couple of days for the reality of it to set in.

I believe you are right. I no longer fear this type of thing as I used to. Maybe that is why I don't encounter it much anymore.

I haven't had an encounter like that since, where I felt threatened.

OFFBEATS
I asked the guy what he usually did when he felt like this (anxious), and he said, "I take street drugs." His voice was very raspy and guttural. It was creepy as hell.

Thanks. What you are saying is probably very accurate. I have always been very sensitive to paranormal things.

It was like a wave of uneasiness and unwelcomeness all rolled together. Very strange. I'll never forget it. Do you watch A Haunting on Discovery Channel?

It has been said that the more knowledgable and aware
of the conflicting unseen entities a person is, the more determined is the evil entity to attain you.

get the hell out of the place!
No mistake about it such satanists exist. that gives me the creeps.

It is good to get away from that; however, you are in control of the evil spirits. As the Scripture says "He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world." It can be a terrible fight if you do not know what you are doing. The physical power can manifest itself to incredible force. Shake the dust off your feet when leaving a place like that. Be blessed.

I don't know for sure but I think you were in direct contact with evil that night. Negative energy hates Godly spirits. I am glad you got out of there when you did. That type of energy can drain you before you even are aware of it..

PostSmile!  I'm glad you were able to get out of there without taking him with you. I've known such feelings and on one occasion it was many years later when I found out the nature of the evil I sensed. You are very intuitive and I for one would trust your instincts.

avant garde,

Far better for you to be out of that place never to return.  Evil is very real and so is Satan.

Hello, Avant-garde.

If you felt it then it was real, whether he was a real or wannabe Satanist with whatever he had adorned his home with. Either way the house was inhabited with negativity and you felt it. With your energy being down from you being so tired you would be an easier target than your partner, especially if you are more knowledgable of the signs. Or maybe your partner that evening was a blonde...? just kidding...I'm one myself!

I am fascinated by such experiences, and the way you write interests me. I will be back to read you here more often.

I was told, Avant, that the house I lived in for 9 months in 2002-2003, had

a room in the attic, which no one could enter because of the energy.  I might have dismissed it as just childish superstition, but given the events in that house, and the the self-destructive behavior of all of us, it would not surprise me.

Because, after my roommate left, I came home one night to the very distinct feeling, never a "vision", but a strong, clear feeling that I could not stay there any longer, that something vile was seeking to kill or restroy me. I left, it was the most horrible feeling.

Re:the comments on "red eye".  N, my roommate told me that  she had a "waking or lucid dream" one morning, very upsetting to her. Actually, it wasn't a dream, it was more of a "vision".  She woke one morning at about 4 am, and saw a red light streaming under her door. Just then she heard her 18 year old daughter laugh in her sleep, in the room next door. She was paralyzed, transfixed, but the overwhelming sense of evil terrified her, particularly, when her daughter was present and she felt helpless to protect her.

Of course, I have my doubts as to whether her story was true or she knew of my predisposition to believe it. She was capable of "gaslighting" as she later proved, but that story had the ring of authenticity about it, and it definitely made an impression on me.

to faholo via avant:
I have not had a red eye experience (scary!) but I have had plenty of dead eye ones.  I'm sure you have, too.  Have you looked into someone's eyes and nothing is there.  You are staring into endless darkness?  I've even encountered a couple of babies that are that way. These people are so expressionless as well.  creepy.

Avant-
I seem to be stuck on Sylvia Browne lately.  She would say that is a dark soul.  You are most definitely a light soul, who avoid darks.  They are evil.  Then there are the grays, which could go either way.  I haven't read Sylvia's latest book, but my daughter just finished it.  According to Sylvia, the lights are outnumbered.  I am not surprised.  I am a light soul and unwavering, even if called deluded. Maybe that's why you labeled me as "determined."  The dark souls goal is to seduce and lure those who are the gray souls.  There are angels here whose only soul is to eliminate darks.  I think I will read this latest book before I write a book here!!  Glad you wrote about this.  Your partner must be a light soul (likes attract likes). When you feel the hair rise on the back of your neck, that's involuntary.  It is your "danger danger will smith" warning sign! 'Kay, that's 'nuff for now!

How scary! Yes, I have been in the presence of
the evil that lurks in a room where satanic worship is or has been present. I once was teaching a Confirmation class when the eyes of someone, I suspected of dabbling in things Satanic, suddenly turned firey red. I still shudder when I think of that incident! From then on team members prayed while I taught that class the rest of the year! Keep writing Avant and invite God to walk with you as you enter the places your work calls you to! faholo
