Then we'll go thru rehab and in the end we'll write a book about our experience. Donuts and coffee at our Tuesday nite group therapy.

By adding small cactus to your cubicle thereby making it "homey", I think, should not make you think about outlawing 9-5 jobs. Should not waiting to get at the blog secrete creative juices out of you. I'm telling of my own experience. When I have the whole day to blog, I don' find my juices flowing. Wat say U?

OUtlawing work?
You're preaching to the choir. I think the drug dispensary is a good idea but why not just add happy pills to the tea?

Yeah Bandana...folks have been talking about making pot
Legal since the sixties I guess. Looks like it will never happen though it IS much less harmful that cigarettes or booze.

Exactly! I've always advocated the legalization of marijuana.
It just helps your day go by a little happier (and smellier).

I couldn't agree more, Blanche...
Those who are forced to perform jobs like that should be encouraged to do drugs at work. Employers should do drug tests to make sure you ARE high instead of vice versa.

Statistically, Passionflower, I hear that more people die of heart attacks
on Mondays than other days. No brainer there. But I used to joke about that all the time at the law firm where we were counting documents (God, does it get any more boring than Bates numbering whole boxes of paper?). Instead of making sure that everyone ISN'T high, they should make sure we were, so they'd get more work out of us, we'd just go into the "zone" and keep counting.

But it sounds interesting.

You don't really need your whole brain for these mindless jobs anyway. You might as well be high.

Passionflower I think they should hand them out in the break room on
these boring mindless jobs, instead of testing for them, to keep you from doing them. Not very smart, if you can do the job with one half of your brain tied behind your back, what do you need the other half for?
