this post reminds me of channeling. the center being the oneness of opposites. like asking recieving to surrender to control. i really dont believe there is a word for it, hence the word and what i mean. i get frustrated with this because i want to see it on my own, when reading it filters it.

i will wander to find peace within.

Sometimes, things get very clear and the mirrors reveal themselves. Other times, I become lost in a mire of self projection that appears to be an onslaught of enmity.

Avant Gard

'Boy, you've stopped preaching and gone to medling.' Said somebody once. This is excellent.

The sentence "What is born in the mind only regenerates itself in experience." is great. You have coined a new and good phrase.

Those qualities love, peace, joy etc., those are gifts of the spirit and one not only can not control them but can only have them when God has given them. That is my belief from the Scriptures about those qualities. I love your writing.

Avant,
"Only those who are out of control will relinquish control, and thereby have it."  Acceptance, humility, letting go of preconceived ideas of how things are or should be. These things I agree with.  I dissect every statement, again peeling back the onion, attempting to reconcile experience with ideas.

Avant Garde, I have tried to see the world as a mere reflection of my own

projections and thought processes and to a great extent I think you are right:  what I believe about a thing or person, is skewed through my own perception.  Especially if I'm reactive or projective based on a previous experience which resembles the situation I find myself faced with, I think, "Oh, I know this person, or I know how this person reacts, thinks and feels" and the truth is I don't, I imagine that I do.

In that sense, projection is a real factor, and a reflection of my attitude in that moment. If I'm hostile or happy, the world is likely to seem that way to me.

However, in the final analyssis, I don't believe that all of reality ifs like an onion that can be peeled to nothingness. I can't prove that, no one can or cannot, but what I believe is that there are inherent properties of things, and there are things that are true, not just because I believe them, but because they are.

Thought-provoking indeed, you've certainly stimulated a train of thought in my mind. Thank you for great insights.
