Training our teachers to be more protective and defensive doesn't bother me
half as bad as training hormone-driven, teenage-angst burdened teens and pre-teens to be aggressive against armed invaders.  And it is sad, no matter how you view it.

It's sad that we should be training our teachers to be armed guards
but that's where it's heading.
