Thanks! I'm having fun with it. I found your Portfolio I and tried to get the preview, but I couldn't get it to advance to the next page from the cover. The arrow button didn't seem to work. I'll try again later. Thanks for stopping by!

I'm not too sure how I feel about bardo. It is a fascinating realm, if you keep in mind the writings in the Tibetan Book of the Dead. But it could just be another construct, as Ms. David-Neel suggests. Thanks for the visit.

Death is definitely a sensualist. He misses the whole aspect of human sensuality - the caressing, the kissing, becoming intoxicated by another - and he misses women in general. He also does not take him self seriously. And that's part of his point - death isn't serious, it's just another aspect of our "life".

Now that I've reviewed my comment, I realize that it was supposed to be bardo. Forgive the error.

I've read of the bardot, written by Alexandra David-Neel in her book Immortality and Reincarnation. It seems that the bardot is another name for the false reality we build up in our minds while living a physical existence. It spends itself as we enter a new dimension. Some realize its fictitious nature, others might choose to dwell in it. Perhaps it is the hell man speaks of.

Sannhet, death is kind of a sensualist, isn't he?
Krispy Kreme doughnuts, the sex kitten of the 50s and 60s, Brigette Bardot.  It almost seems like he doesn't quite take himself seriously, although I guess if you were immortal, then death wouldn't be so serious would it?  Hm.
