I never saw JFK.. in fact I'm not sure how many of Stone's films I've seen

I really want to see, despite the fact that I trust Oliver Stone about...
as far as I can throw Michael Moore. I watched a documentary about the JFK assassination where Stone was asked about the inaccuracies. Particularly referring to the press conference at the end of JFK, where Kevin Costner's character gave this dramatic, heart-wrenching speech that never took place. Stone's response was just to smile smugly and say "creative liberty".
Going by your review, though, it sounds like maybe Ollie grew up a little bit. You've got me interested.
