Whoa! Is the universe with you, or what?
It's so cool when a thread comes up in the tapestry when you least expect it.  :)pat

I often feel as if my life is like that...it's a cycle of bizarre,

Seemingly unrelated events that are somehow, mysteriously interwoven into the fabric of my life.

I've written about these same types of eerie coincidences. Plus I have that whole wierd 'number' thing going on...when I see all those peculiar number sequences, a natural disaster takes place somewhere.

I'm connected to the earth in a way I don't understand, but the evidence is so clear that it's hard to miss.

I wish you financial deliverance and pray that this 'time of testing' is over for both of us.

Azur, Yep, you have to just keep paddling if you want to go upstream.  Otherwise, its down the river for you with everyone else.

I believe in symbols and signs,

and strange coincidences.  I hope as you follow the signs, you find yourself paddling on calm waters.

This is Lake Erie in Canada. We went there in July.

We have no choice but to keep on going at it.

Good to hear from you (our visit..) no need to apologize.
It sounds like you had a lot on your plate. Hope you get a lucky break soon, if any one deserves it, it is you! I just got this wonderful "offer" from poetry.com saying yea your poem has been selected to go into the semifinal, wonderful news n'est-ce-pas but... for the nominal fee of 79.95 US dollars ( a small fortune) I can have it edited  professional and perhaps win the grand prize of $1000 yea... Is this how these scum bags make their money?... I would not mind wasting the money out of curiosity but this might be an expensive excercise with nothing to show at the end of it. There always seems to be a catch somewhere, and flattery will get them (the crooks) nowhere. The site seems "bona fide" and reasonably serious, but they still have to make their money somewhere. What do you think? A nice red herring this one?

Just a quick hello!
and to say, I admire your perseverance. If you throw enough mud at the wall, some of it will stick eventually, paddling would sound more fun than throwing mud, however...anyway all the best.

Azur,

What seems so simple in theory, always seems to get complicated in practice.  Why is that? I wish people would not play mind games with someone's income.  MG is having similar dilemmas with home design clients who take up his time, waffling, uncertain of their taste, but unwilling to rely on his and cancelling.

It seems they don't value anyone's time as much as their own. I hope these last features pan out.  (wish me luck, I contacted my first real editor today at one of the two Seattle newspapers (although they operate under a JOA0.    I got word back from my friend, the technology reporter, whom I cc:ed, but not his editor.  Looks like I'll have to wait til Monday.    Oh well.
