I can't get my head around a butcher using their feet or as you said a toe and a thumb to cut meat. I can't use my feet for anything but walking and dancing. Can you post a photograph. That is so awesome sounding.

Tanga and Taps
Traditionally, sitting on the floor, for most activities, is common in India. Many cooks, including homemakers, prefer to sit and cut vegetables and grind spices. Ofcourse, I also use butchers in other parts of Delhi who stand and cut the meat. I am wondering if it is less tiring that standing?

Greenfields, I also would like to know more about cutting meats with the thumb and toe combination.
