the amish are very interesting

i admire them

they eschew the hectic race of modern society -- chasing after temporary material things -- and are very well off as a result.

i worked alongside some boys when working at the MU farms in lieu of military service in the mid 60's -- far from the stereotype they were -- gregarious, fun-loving, sociable, etc. --

theirs is a society we all should learn from -- to emulate in many ways.

ours is a society that has lost its substance.

Mountain Climber
Their response has been to reach out to the killer's family. They are supporting the families of the deceased and are not in any way harboring hatred. They are a very special people. God gives strength to those seeking it. Be blessed. Nice post.
