Interesting. In some point, it was the reason I started to write my poetry.
Weird, but emotions about which I didn't want to talk, now have a place in Blogit. And, still, nobody outside this "community" has no clue, that Iam writing anything.

Don't mean to be a downer
but my experience relates.  I was with my father when he passed after a battle with cancer.  It was a very emotional and intense several days and afterwards, I found I couldn't sleep because I kept replaying the events.  When I finally pulled out my journal and wrote everything down, I fell asleep.  I realized later that I could do that because my memories were finally safe and I could stop replaying them.  It was such a relief.  For many, I do think writing things down allows us to let go of memories.

it's kind of an interesting theory. I'm not entirely sure it is quite so exclusive, but those are definitely two major purposes of words. "Remember the blog!" lol.
