Thank you, Afzal, one of these days, I'll figure out how to enlarge it.

Nonconformist, I have the original photo in the front of my Day Timer
It lifts me spirits to see it every day, the feeling of a ship under sail, that much wind and power is indescribable. I'll never forget it.

And I do remember Rckymtnactivist. I miss her. Tell her I said hello if
you happen to email her. I hope she'll reconsider leaving at some point. Things change.

I can, Passion?? Will that help me get my #E!& pictures big enough so
that everybody can see them? (Except for the picture of me, though, I'm not ready for that yet).

Blanche...you can download a trial size Photoshop
From their website. I think Photoshop is probably the most popular photo editing/drawing/painting software on the market.
Remember RckyMtnActivist??? All those wonderful computer images she painted were done with Photoshop. It retails for about $300 but you can buy it cheaper on Half.com or Ebay.

I do have scanning software, Talion, that's how I got in on here.
Thank you for pointing out where I was going wrong. I'll have to look at the instructions more carefully. I'm working on it, I'm working on it, but a little frustrated.

I take it you don't have any photo software on your computer. If not, that explains the trouble. If you do have something, the trick is to manipulate the size of the photograph and save it before uploading it to photobucket.

Talion, PLEASE do. I have wracked my brains on Photobucket, and
all I can see in their editing section is how to reduce it (by percentages) which is not what I want to do, obviously. Do you use Photobucket? If so, any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I think I'm going to have to give you a crash course in posting pictures. I have a 19" monitor, but the photo still isn't much bigger than a postage stamp. It looks nice from what I can see though.
