I wonder if the difference between you is semantic.
I think your views are basically similar, but whereas you make linguistic and intellectual strides to accommodate Christianity (albeit not necessarily the religion's orthodox tenets) Kooka Lives sees no value in Christianity at all, and no sense in finding any sort of common ground with it.
In other words, Kooka is an atheist's atheist. Your approach to religion is more subtle, more nuanced.
If I have misperceived your thinking or his, I hope you will correct me. But as it stands now I think you are correct to believe that you two are basically in agreement.
