Nightlight
Your thoughts and emotions about the quiet of the night touch me. Great.

Afzal, you're welcome, and thank you!
I love watching the stars almost more than anything in the world. It is a shame I don't get to do it more often!

Taps, I bet you could beat the best of them in your day
I don't really climb trees, although I used to when I was really
young. Somehow, without a cactus stuck on the end of a stick to
accompany my assent, it doesn't seem worth it.

blackcat and TV, I love both those places
And if you put them together? Well, let's not push our luck!

Very descriptive and romantic post . Thanks for reminding me of
my favourite cot in the village on which I would like to sleep under the sky full of stars specially the milky way.

Any place I can see the stars is my "window sill"
They always put things in perspective and make me realize my problems and concerns aren't all that important. I'm dust in the wind.

Artifact, When I was young, it was always up in a tree. But, the cumbersomeness of the years precludes the climbing of trees these days. But, my bedroom has a very large window that looks out on the tree that I would climb if I were young, and in my imagination, I'm still there.

I usually like to go near the water's edge somewhere... the coast...
When you look out at the water, problems don't see as big anymore...

Julia, I'm sure you will find one!
I always stumble across them on accident. Sometimes that can take a while.

I guess I am still searching for my window sill.
I rather like the idea you've presented here, but I can't say that there is such a place for me...yet.
