My daughter and her husband when they were young students many years ago
.......used to gather them from Greenwich park to make a very cheap vegetarian nut roast.

Cameraeye - Here is a site for you that has just about everything chestnut one could imagine. Please keep in mind though that I have never tried any of them. LOL
