Good for you Tanga...Hope you're relaxing
With that beautiful family. {PS-You should put one of those clocks in your blogs so we'd know what time it is there where you live. It's about 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The Dallas Cowboys have just beaten the Tennessee Titans in a rather good game of American Football....{where we use an actual FOOTBALL and not a soccer ball...LOL}

No, the auditors pitched
did a few stock spot checks here and there. Found no problems and left. They will be coming next week to view the books, but my work is done

LOL Blanche....I always say that stuff but really....
I hate working earthquakes! Hurricanes and flooding disasters are my favs.

Insurance, Passionflower, I don't have no steenkin' insurance.
Anyway,  I forgot to comment on your comment yesterday about hoping for an earthquake, I know you don't mean that in a bad way.  Some of us are not cut out for the cubicle jungle, I guess I got out the hard way.  I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

I imagine they don't, Blanche...if any of them have jobs

as boring as mine is right now, I can't really blame them. I would blog all day if they'd let me.   Instead, those assholes expect ME to input insurance policy information. Imagine that?

Well, you know who to blame if your insurance company cancels you bec they say you didn't pay your premium last month. It was me....I fell over and died at my monitor and no one even noticed.

So, he couldn't blog because of firewalls at work, Passionflower,
that does suck, but it's understandable, I suppose. I wonder sometimes how some of our bloggers here get any work done!

Blanche, I'm glad to hear about M...

I hope he brings home a whole lotta bacon!!! LOL-

I haven't heard from Timmy in a while. They started montoring all internet access where he works and he couldn't blog from work anymore...dont that suck???? LOL

posted by Passionflower on September 30, 2006 at 5:51 PM | link to this | reply

Speaking of salesmen, Passion, have you heard of TIMMYTALES lately?
I just thought to wonder about him.

We may have the cash, Passionflower, I'm broke, but he's getting on his
feet.  That's the downside of commission sales, it's feast or famine, but he's been in this one store long enough, he's starting to build up clients.  He just called, it looks like September's going to be a good month, and the payoff is next month.  It's been a rough couple of years, but we're slowly turning it around.

posted by Blanche. on September 30, 2006 at 3:32 PM | link to this | reply

I think that's a great idea Blanche
And will be praying for a large influx of CASH so you can go and have fun.

posted by Passionflower on September 30, 2006 at 2:38 PM | link to this | reply

yess!! I haven't been to Mexico since 83, on the Gulf in Veracruz
I'd love to go with MG. I'd really like to get out of here for Christmas, just get out of town.

A nice vacation to a tropical place would really break up the winter
For you guys...you should definitely GO!!!!!!!!! And have lots of fun!

posted by Passionflower on September 30, 2006 at 1:58 PM | link to this | reply

I checked the link, thanks, Passionflower,
I've heard Cabo can be nice. I'll check it out.  If M's job takes off and he starts making commissions, we'll have enough to take a mini-vacation.  He's the one who really wants to go, though, not me.

posted by Blanche. on September 30, 2006 at 1:56 PM | link to this | reply

Gee Blanche...you can't go wrong on the west coast there

Of the peninsula...I love Cabo San Lucas....Here's a LINK to a live Beach Cam---anyplace with a beach and tropical weather works for me...LOL!

I hope you guys get to go and have plenty of money to spend...maybe you'll get some kind of CASH windfall soon...

posted by Passionflower on September 30, 2006 at 1:52 PM | link to this | reply

Okay, lol., I get the idea, Passionflower,
Hey, M and I would like to take a cheap vacation in Mexico around Christmas when business is slow for him, and the winter blahs really set in here. Any suggestions on the West Coast?  Do you know any places in Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan, or some less touristy places?

90 is very pleasant here, BrightIrish!
You just don't want to stand directly in the sun for long.

posted by Passionflower on September 30, 2006 at 1:38 PM | link to this | reply

LMAO Blanche...I DO agree!
Nah, I'm not dressing up....just wearing jeans....stuff that's easy to remove...LOL!

posted by Passionflower on September 30, 2006 at 1:38 PM | link to this | reply

Passionflower
Have a good time.. I'm afraid the 90 degree weather would put a damper on my dancing.

posted by BrightIrish on September 30, 2006 at 1:35 PM | link to this | reply

I'ts nice to have options, lol, Passionflower,
So, are you getting dressed up or what?  I've got a pile of ironing here, yuck, that I really don't want to do.

That's kind of what I thought, Blanche...LOL!

You should take a nap.

I don't blame him, PF, neither do I. It's why I don't do concerts anymore.
So, you get to see the bf.  That doesn't sound like a bad Plan B, lol.

Hey Shelly...I was just over at your
Sound of Music blog trying to find out what happened to you...you never told us.

Hey, sorry I haven't been around much.

Blanche...when we got over to the interchange between

Central Expwy and I-30, the traffic stopped. Richard and I both knew it was " the Fair traffic" since this is opening weekend. I think we'll go on a weekday.

Richard has a thing about large crowds - he hates them! He also bought a new race car and wanted to go to the track...so it didn't take much to talk him out of it! LOL!

I'm going to take a short nap, then go out and see my bf.

Hey there Passion, how are ya?
I  had a 5 hour workshop to attend. yay...

It's gray here, Passionflower, bummer, I think our sunny weather is going.

I thought you'd be long gone to the fair.  I was going out to catch my favorite guitar player, but he hasn't showed, so I came home to do housework, make lunch and blog.

Maggie just told me it was cold and drizzly where she lives -- Yuk! No thanks....it's  very warm and pleasant 92 degrees here today...I'm wearing shorts.  Move south...LOL!

A funny thing, I got up this morning and wrote a cowboy poem about a girl going to a dance wearing cowgirl boots.t

Oh my Maggie...has it already turned cold there?
It's way too early for that kind of weather here. Snuggling under a warm quilt is fun though.

Oh yes, Offbeats...as a child

We went up on that thing in those little hanging swing seats that sway back and forth. The scariest part was when they were loading and unloading the wheel. Cuz then you could get stuck right at the top for a long time.

OMG! How scary for a kid! We were so high up there that you could see the whole city of Dallas....I think we actually went into some clouds one time. All we had holding us in was those little straps and a metal bar.

I love the fair! I'm gonna break my diet today and eat a Fletcher's Corny Dog and a steak on a stick and who knows what else??????????? I'm gonna ride the tilt-a-whirl too if they still have it.

posted by Passionflower on September 30, 2006 at 7:53 AM | link to this | reply

I can't say the same for our weather, Passion.  Hope you have a fun day!  Either/Or sounds great to me.

Our weather sucks - rainy and cold, going down in the 40s at night - good cuddling, snuggling weather.

When I went on it they were cages...you mean at one time they weren't???Yikes that would have been scary!

posted by Offy on September 30, 2006 at 7:45 AM | link to this | reply

Offbeat...I love that ferris wheel...but Richard is afraid of heights

So if I go, I'll have to go alone. Did you know that they made those little swinging seats into cages? It's not that dangerous and fun anymore.

Also, they took out that awesome roller coaster bec someone got hurt and sued them.
