Good for you Tanga...Hope you're relaxing
With that beautiful family. {PS-You should put one of those clocks in your blogs so we'd know what time it is there where you live. It's about 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The Dallas Cowboys have just beaten the Tennessee Titans in a rather good game of American Football....{where we use an actual FOOTBALL and not a soccer ball...LOL}

Insurance, Passionflower, I don't have no steenkin' insurance.
Anyway, I forgot to comment on your comment yesterday about hoping for an earthquake, I know you don't mean that in a bad way. Some of us are not cut out for the cubicle jungle, I guess I got out the hard way. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

I imagine they don't, Blanche...if any of them have jobs
as boring as mine is right now, I can't really blame them. I would blog all day if they'd let me. Instead, those assholes expect ME to input insurance policy information. Imagine that?
Well, you know who to blame if your insurance company cancels you bec they say you didn't pay your premium last month. It was me....I fell over and died at my monitor and no one even noticed.

We may have the cash, Passionflower, I'm broke, but he's getting on his
feet. That's the downside of commission sales, it's feast or famine, but he's been in this one store long enough, he's starting to build up clients. He just called, it looks like September's going to be a good month, and the payoff is next month. It's been a rough couple of years, but we're slowly turning it around.

I checked the link, thanks, Passionflower,
I've heard Cabo can be nice. I'll check it out. If M's job takes off and he starts making commissions, we'll have enough to take a mini-vacation. He's the one who really wants to go, though, not me.

Hey, M and I would like to take a cheap vacation in Mexico around Christmas when business is slow for him, and the winter blahs really set in here. Any suggestions on the West Coast? Do you know any places in Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan, or some less touristy places?

Blanche...when we got over to the interchange between
Central Expwy and I-30, the traffic stopped. Richard and I both knew it was " the Fair traffic" since this is opening weekend. I think we'll go on a weekday.
Richard has a thing about large crowds - he hates them! He also bought a new race car and wanted to go to the track...so it didn't take much to talk him out of it! LOL!
I'm going to take a short nap, then go out and see my bf.

Oh yes, Offbeats...as a child
We went up on that thing in those little hanging swing seats that sway back and forth. The scariest part was when they were loading and unloading the wheel. Cuz then you could get stuck right at the top for a long time.
OMG! How scary for a kid! We were so high up there that you could see the whole city of Dallas....I think we actually went into some clouds one time. All we had holding us in was those little straps and a metal bar.
I love the fair! I'm gonna break my diet today and eat a Fletcher's Corny Dog and a steak on a stick and who knows what else??????????? I'm gonna ride the tilt-a-whirl too if they still have it.

So if I go, I'll have to go alone. Did you know that they made those little swinging seats into cages? It's not that dangerous and fun anymore.
Also, they took out that awesome roller coaster bec someone got hurt and sued them.
