Hi Tony
nice poem, we never really know where our thougths are coming from or where they are leading...i guess the necessary cooperation from us is to simply receive and follow:-) Nice yoru daughter is going off to University, but alas she will need you for a very long time...the seperation is somewhat of an illusion

Hi Tony
Your poetry gently rocks into soothing understandings on and of realisum. Flows easily from your honest heart and soul. Working class, some of that rare breed, that dared. Congratulations your daughter and you. Mike ps well wrote mate

Thanks for your comment
I know you play your part as a Dad-very well-as most dads do-it's not only us mums by any means-that need a 'Quiet Hour'.Thanks for visiting/commenting.Chris.

Thanks everyone - much appreciated
I'm not trying to claim I'm the perfect dad, but I think I played my part! Plus all parents should take some credit for what their children do (but not boast about it!). I'm not trying to boast, it's more about the sadness of separation from people. Love, Tony
