As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly and listen to others,

Even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others you may become vain or bitter,

For always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Good Post!

The only thing about treating others as we would like to be treated, is that there are some slight differences on the way people want to be treated.
For instance, being the shy person that I am, I don't openly talk much to people in general, and I always hope no one starts a conversation with me.  But others who are more outgoing would be just the opposite.

kidnykid, a pleasing personality does not mean being a 'yes man'; it is an authentic way of dealing with people within the framework of mutual understanding and respect and it could be summed up by applying the golden rule.

Isn't it also true that one can work too hard at having a pleasing personality, to the point at which one can become a "yes man" with no opinions of one's own, for fear of displeasing others?

Hi I followed your instructions and I really liked your site. We both seem to do similar things. I am also a life coach .What were you thoughts on getting an e-book developed?
