The interlocking systems of drivers' licenses between states, plus Social Security numbers, have created de facto national ID's.
Remember what happened to the Japanese Americans at the beginning of WWII?? Not good, not good.

well, most people in prison are black and criminals, so it would follow that most black

people should be stopped at the airports ( they are probably wanted and escaped and planning some new crime). Maybe they haven't as a group hit Two Towers, but, as a group, supposedly, they prey on American society. Then, all Mexicans should be stopped to be checked for legal status within our nation. And all Chinese faced people, too, as they are sneaking in here by the thousands.

We should all be stopped and screened and examined and fingerprinted and phohtographed and entered into computers and followed around electronically from now on and that way, America will be much, much safer and secure. National ID cards should be issued and there should be a law making it mandatory to carry that ID at all times. Anyone who leaves it at home in their other purse or jacket, should be jailed until found to be a person of "good" status. America, the land of the free, before 9-11. I pity my great, great grandchildren.

It's A Tough Call

19 of the 20 9/11 hijackers were muslim.  People have blamed the FBI for not knowing the 20 were learning to fly.  It was reported that the FBI didn't follow specific people groups based on their ethnicity so they actually looked the other way under the Clinton administration so as not to look racist.

If 20 blonde-haired, blue eyed christians were agents of terror is Saudi Arabia, I would expect to be questioned and detained if I went to that country.  It may not be right but they would need to protect their country from more murder, destruction and fear.
