I do not think many bloggers
are concerned about the clicks. I am here to find people with a common ground, share and be shared. I also like to read and learn from others who are in countries never visited or experiences never dealt with. I may not agree all the time and have my own opinions, but judging when you truly do not know the blogger or their situation is wrong. Rather try and help or advise than judge

I'm one of those that figured this was a click trick but
I didn't find it offensive in any way. This is blogit. I enjoy this blog so I keep coming back, trick or not. If a person uses too many tricks for my taste, then I just quit reading their blog. It's easy enough. I don't complain about it. It's all part of the game.

Sometimes that makes all the difference.
Regardless of my past history with God, I DO know that He can and will heal you. I also know that He loves mankind, though I don't understand WHY. We're not a very lovable bunch sometimes.

Passionflower, I think a lot of people, myself included, have been.
Right now, I'm a lover, not a fighter. If I don't like someone, I don't read them, don't comment, and don't write about them. Period. End of story.
The ones I like, like me, and we're cool. The ones who don't like me avoid me as much as I avoid them. It works.

Passion
Although i often criticise them, I think I must be the most passionate defender of Christianity and Christians in here. Why? you might ask.
To me, it's simple ; we are what we are, whether we're believers or non-belivers because of our Judaeo-Christian heritage, which, if we don't get up and defend it, we're going to lose the war against the new Church Militant : Islam.
Many prayed for me last Christmas, and I greatly appreciated their - and your - concern. Far from being insulted by Christians praying for me, I am proud yet humbled.
I'm still far from being well, even now, which is partly why I haven't been around so much lately, but if ever anything did happen to me/us, then our daughter, Francie would let everyone know.
The friendship, support, and dare one say it? love, that I have received in here is infinitely precious to me.

Ariel...I had forgotten all about those problems and illnesses you
Had last year.
I know that you've probably had some bad experiences with Christians. The bible instructs us to go and tell people about Jesus. But many are not taught how to affectively do this.
So they go out and offend everyone they come in contact with. Another thing they do is, once they get "saved" they start thinking that their shit doesn't stink. They get a feeling of superiority.
It's very easy to see why and how people get some turned off by Christianity. Wish I had an answer - I'm a Christian but I honestly hate associating with some of them - what an obnoxiious bunch they can be!
At the same time, there are many sweet, loving Christians out there who would pray for you and help you and be supportive no matter what you're going thru.
We see many bad doctors and lawyers these days but we don't stop going to doctors and lawyers bec of those bad ones. We just keep looking till we find a good one.

Passion again
I forgot to mention that when I was fed up, depressed, and wondering whether to give Blogit the boot last year, I was bowled over by receiving comments begging me to stay from people that I never imagined even read my posts!
Not, only that, but I was actually moved to tears by all the loving comments I received when I was in hospital. I guess that that's what buoys us up when we're down a black hole, isn't it?

I missed your post saying that you might quit, otherwise I would have returned the compliment, when our positions were reversed, and you were so supportive of me. Also when I was in hospital last Christmas.
I echo your sentiments exactly, and one has to say, sadly, that Blogit has changed ; and not for the better.

There's still so much criticism and negativity though. It's pretty stressful, you have to admit!
Evidently, reading (or not reading), writing and minding your own business is pretty tough

I believe you hit the nail on the head, or someone did in the comment section. A persons blog belongs to them so if they are staying or going or using the word blogger or blogging or sex or more sex can be whatever you want..so long as the blogs intent is not to hurt others. I would never say I am a lesser blogger because I ask my friends to stay...my friends are important to me and that's what makes us so unique here. We have many friends each offering a different view and sometimes....it takes just one to convince us that maybe we are indeed being hasty in a decision that would jeopardize a friend.

the wonderful things about this comment system is that people can say whatever they want. It kind of mirrors the mind. you can think whatever you want. Another fun thing about this site is the more you click, the less you actually pay out per click. So I click on all the crap i can...just for the hell of it.
