Comments on What We Know About Iraq

Go to Bush's War, or The War Of The GulfAdd a commentGo to What We Know About Iraq

Sorry to dispute your good word, michael, but you're wrong. This war was

pointless to begin with, much as I've reiterated time and again.  No matter what bullshit reason is given, there was no real reason to have ever invaded Iraq -- especially one that can be qualified as workable and justifiable.  Bush and his ridiculous agenda, his moronic yes-men and yes-women, their handling of this entire debacle from go -- pointless.  Whether it was for self-aggrandisement or oil, imperialism or some type of future payoff, it was and remains one hell of an idiotic decision.   And it has cost America dearly,  in international esteem and lives and finances.

And I'm truly sorry you have to spend another Christmas there, michael.  Would that you'd never have to spend one more day there under these circumstances.  Be well, be safe.

By voting out those worthless sons of bitches that are supporting that
delusional maniac and his policies.  What is increasingly sickening, Blanche, is that the latest polls show Bush's numbers of approval are rising.

Saul Relative,
You've probably seen the same article I just read about the newly released National Intelligence Estimate, the joint intelligence agencies report, the first since 2004, which states that the Iraq war has directly fueled Islamic extremism.  That's a cheery thought, yet the White House report is still a) barely mentioning Irraq and b) denying any adverse influence. How are we going to survive 2 more years of this denial?
