30 degrees it is really warming up, much warmer than NZ, but we are doing fine right now. Might be rain coming soon.

thank you for your kind comments - I wrote those quite quickly, and nothing since. I'm well, thank you - getting warmer in fits and starts, 30 on Sunday and now quite cool again. Catch up later, with the weekend coming up.

mneme, I love magnolia trees. My favorite is the Southern Magnolia with its big white flowers and thick shiny leaves. Around here though are the smaller kind with the pink flowers on them. I really like them too. Your magnolia haikus are lovely and leave me with many memories of the magnolias of my life.
