Enjoyed the poem and photo of Lovely Lizard....
...do animals accept us.?......well, who knows what they know? We have two cats who certainly seem to accept us, but only because it suits them I think!

To the lizard, that is, not Phil Collins.

Jo, here's another song for your lizard:
Scaly ( Phil Collins). You could sing it to him, next time he appears.

I saw one of these in the pond too. It was observing humans, maybe waiting for food thrown at it. Lol.

In your first piece there’s a human parallel. Some people peak out at life (and scurry back into their hiding spot when they’ve had enough).   I really enjoyed it….

Creative and so entertaining, photos full for the eye,  admiring your art. The colours of rocks and lizard in pose. Plus explanatory poems, full of the territory, in imagery. Thanks Jo

Wow. He reappeared deliberately to inspire you once again.

Excellent work, Jo, both photographic and poetic. Hope you've got a song out of him.

If not, here's a title: The Lizard of Oz
