O.K. I am a big fan of Y & R too! I'm glad you
recognize that you can't help your friend destructive behavior. I
am sure that you can't compare your friend situation to Y &
R. That person wasn't completely out of line, (smile)
however, you can be there for your friend and just be a listener.
Sometimes when I reach that point with other people, I'm just a
listener , don't say anything,, because your friend needs to vent
until she gets over her funk! If her drama drains you, change the
subject or take a break from that friendship until you regain your
energy. But I can tell you from personal experience, after
you get over your drama you will remember those people who helped you
along the way.
