I will not need any announcements, thanks anyway.

Seriously, I have wondered what would happen, but for me it seems like we are jinxing people just by bringing it up...

Sometimes, we go to a residence where the guy hasn't been seen in a week. It isn't a pretty sight. I think that if I were to die, my wife would come on here and just announce it.
I have the uncanny ability to recognize when someone is getting ready to die. I can spot it immediately now when I walk into a room. People are wondering why I suddenly go into hyperdrive and demand that he be a 'load and go', while they are wasting time getting information.

that thought had crossed my mind and I am glad someone voiced it for me.
I do wonder about the welfare of other bloggers, after some of them are like friends, and I just write and email if necessary. What a thought though, one of us disappearing, do I really want to think about it? would people really noticed or care if I disappeared, a few may do but most would not. I should include blogit in my will and donate my writing proceeds to a good cause???

I think you have a valid point and we should all try and have someone blog our passing. Maybe one could even go so far as include it in a will.

Yes, some would. It'd be very rude of me to just die and leave without
telling. I update my list of "please contact blah blah, by blah blah when I die" list once in a while. I even put my great grandma on there. She's almost 100 (!), but she's clearly planning on outliving every single one of us.

My attourney has all the info in a sealed letter.
Hope he doesn't have to open it too soon. I did that while he was settling my mom's estate...might as well make him work for his fees.

Spirits usually remain in familiar surroundings alongside those they loved in life.
If Ariel died, I don't think his spirit would come find me and tell me.
