Re: Corn on the Cob
My husband had some corn in his garden a couple of years ago and we shared with our neighbors who told us how they did theirs. Still in the husk, cut the ends off and microwave (2 at a time) for five minutes. Surprisingly the silk comes out really easy, and the corn isn't watered down like it is when you boil it. NOW!!! Smart Balance margarine is what we put on it and to us it is AWESOME, with cajun seasoning. Believe it or not, he didn't have a garden last year, but Wal-Mart's was just as good (fresh, still in the husk). It's so EASY no pot to wash, try it, you'll love it!! Just be sure and check for worms!!! LOL!!!

Schatz,
sounds great. You might also try this: blanch the cobs briefly, rub them in olive oil or butter, a bit of salt, and cover them in humungous amounts of fresh, chopped rosemary (it has to be fresh, the dry stuff just won't do it!), and put on the BBQ for a bit.
Of course, you could also add fresh rosemary to your recipe at the end.
